Our Tonneau Cover Can Carry a Load

Although the nice fiberglass one piece tonneau covers present a very clean and attractive finish, they can be rather useless when you have to carry a load. You usually end up having to remove the cover, which if you are not somewhere where you can leave it, presents a major problem. At Bak Liner we decided that there had to be a better way to build a tonneau cover.

Keeping this in mind our engineers designed the TiltBak one piece tonneau cover so that it would be strong enough to carry a load.  With the rugged top surface we gave it, our tonneau cover is capable of carrying up to 500 pounds of load on top of it and since the entire cover and mounting system fit inside the sides of your bed, your stake pockets will remain fully usable so that you can use them to help hold your load in place for the trip.
