Introducing Our No Holes Mounting System

Far too often we hear complaints about our competitions’ mounting systems; the most common of these is that they all require you to drill several holes in the bed of their trucks in order to install them. Those soft covers take dozens of holes to install all of the snaps and all of these holes are a perfect avenue for rust to start forming.

At Bak Liner we looked at all of the different issues as we were designing our tonneau cover mounting system. No one wants to create a way for their brand new truck to start rusting any sooner than it absolutely has to. Our patented mounting rails fit inside the bed and attach to the side rails of your truck bed with clamps instead of bolts. Not only does this prevent rust, but it leaves the stake pockets and the top rails of your bed open for use.

When You Need to Carry a Load

Although that one piece tonneau cover gives your truck a very clean and attractive look, they tend to get in the way when you have to carry a load. In most cases you are going to end up having to remove the cover, which if you are not somewhere where you can leave it, presents a major problem. At Bak Liner we decided that there had to be a better way.

To help with this dilemma we created our TiltBak one piece tonneau cover to be strong enough to carry a load. In fact with the rugged top surface we built into it, our tonneau cover is capable of carrying up to 500 pounds of load on top of it. Since the entire cover and mounting system fit inside the sides of your bed, your stake pockets will remain usable so that you can use them to help hold your load in place for the trip.
