PRORAILS INSTALLATION

Step1. Push 2" X 3/8" bolts through 1½" washers and rubber plugs and attach to T nuts (Lubrication may be required on rubber washers). See diagram for assembly details.
Step 2. Push assembled plugs into the ends of each pipe. Using a pliers pull the bolts outward to allow the claws of the T-nuts to grab the rubber plug washers. Now tighten bolts until they can no longer be tightened. This ensures that the claws of the T-nuts are well lodged in the rubber plugs. Once complete, remove the bolts from the pipes.
Step 3. Assemble mounting brackets, rubber gaskets and anchor bars with 1" Bolts. (See diagram below) To avoid confusion, place one red bracket and one black bracket per rail. Make sure they are placed with open slots facing outside of the truck.
Step 4. Place mounting bracket assembly in stake pockets of truck according
to the diagrams. (See diagram 4) Tighten brackets with bolts.
Step 5. Push pipes through holes in plastic caps. Push one end in first, all the way and then do the other side.

Step 6. Turn rail caps upside down and gently re-insert the 2" x 3/8" bolts, 1 ½" washers and lock washers into each pipe end. (Be careful not to push the T-nuts out of the rubber washers.). Leave ¾ " of bolt extended out of pipe. (See diagram 5)

Step 7. Peel red backing of 3M tape (ONE INCH ONLY) leaving tabs exposed on sides of rail.
(DO NOT REMOVE ALL THE TAPE BACKING)

Step 8. Place the assembled rails over the mounting brackets and push the bolts that extend from the pipe ends onto the slots of the mounting brackets by applying pressure to the pipe above the bracket. You will feel them snap into place. If they are not properly positioned you will be able to lift the rail up. (ENSURE THAT THE LARGE WASHER AND THE LOCK WASHER ARE NEXT TO THE BOLT HEAD).

Step 9. Tighten bolts of rails through the holes on the plastic bedcaps. Snap the plastic hole plugs into the holes when done.
