Tri-Fold Tonno Covers

It is a little known fact that BAK Industries produces the only real tri-fold tonno covers in the world. Most tri-fold tonno covers are actually not tir-fold tonno covers at all, but really bi-fold tonno covers. The reason is that in order for a tonneau cover to be considered a tri-fold tonno cover, it must be able to fold three times. Even though so called tri-fold tonno covers are supposed to fold three times, 99% of all of them only have two hinges and only fold twice. Take a look for yourself and you'll notice that these phony tri-fold tonno covers have 3 panels, but really only fold twice and not three times.
The only real Tri-Fold Tonno covers are the BakFlip. The BakFlip Tri-Fold tonno covers hasve at least four panels and fold at least three times. It is the only tonno cover that allows full access to your truck bed and the only tri-fold tonno covers that can really be considered tri-fold.
BakFlip's are the original tri-fold tonno covers and are patented as such. All other tri-fold tonno covers are rip off's of the BakFlip and ride the coat tails of the BakFlip. But try as they might, no company is actually able to make real tri-fold tonno covers. The reason is that the tri-fold tonneau covers feature of the BakFlip tri-fold tonno covers is patented.
If you're looking for an aluminum folding tonneau cover, hard tri fold tonno covers, strong tri fold tonno covers or tri-fold tonno ocvers that give you full access to your truck bed, don't fall into the trap of marketing untruths and misnomers. The only true tri-fold tonno covers are BakFlip tri-fold tonno covers, and that is an absolute fact!
